  3. Hi Paul what a great job you have done getting this site up and running, I hope you remember riding with our group KLCC a few months ago and wondered if we can keep in contact as both clubs could do some future events together.
One example of this is we are going to Majorca on the 23 April 2015 for seven days of cycling would you or your members be interested in making it a joint venture, let me know your thoughts you can contact me on 07717833465

    • Hi Mick, I do remember riding with you a few months back and yes I think it would be great to hook up for future events. I think there may be some interest in Mallorca so will give you a call next week. Hope all is well your end and hope the weather doesn’t get to bad over the winter months.
      Regards
      Paul

  4. Hi, I’m
Looking to join the club but don’t have a Paypal account – can I pay by cheque or hard cash? Attended a wee run last night and could bring either at a future meet. Cheers Ian

  5. Hello,

Would you be able to let me know who I need to contact to discuss a charity cycle ride we have arranged for September this year to raise funds for our Medics.

The event will be held on the 5th 6th of September and is a series of rides around Lincolnshire. One is a 200 mile ride visiting all of the Hospitals, starting at Lincoln County at 06.30, going none stop to Grantham, then Stamford, Spalding, Boston, Skegness, Louth, Grimsby, Scunthorpe and finishing at Lincoln. The idea is to have a team of 12 riders who attempt this ride in one go! We estimate finishing at 22.00 that night. There would be full support vehicles, medic cover (of course) food, massage stations half way and a lot of publicity.

If you would like to know more detail please contact me on the above email or phone 01507 525999 mobile 07500 128606.

    Thank you in anticipation

  6. Greetings, to start off I returned to the area some 6 months ago having spent 20 years traveling with the Army. In which time I raced and took part in sportives in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and completed the Etape du tour on 4 occasions out of 5. 2 years ago I qualified as a Level 2 Cycling coach with British cycling and last year completed my level 2 Road and TT course as well as my Level 2 Track coach.
I am registered as disabled and I also coach disabled cyclists.
    I am also a level 3 C&G bicycle mechanic.
I am looking at joining a new club in the area, I reside in Winteringham and my Wife and child are also keen cyclists.
Please advise on what you can offer me.
    Regards Pete Hobson

  7. Hi all you wonderful cyclists! I have set up a local litter campaign aimed at encouraging people to pick up a bit of litter ‘In A Minute’ as people are all busy and can’t spend a lot of time on long litter picks. I’ve started a facebook page but just have met with resistance from the public as to why they should bother, it’s the council’s job etc. Along the Humber bank there is so much plastic waste and I pick stuff up at least once a week. I’m finding a lot of discarded energy gel packs such as SIS and wondered if you could spread the word and make sure people take those home with them? I’m emailing all local groups too and one has agreed to actually do a monthly ‘cycling litter pick’ where every rider will have a carrier bag to fill with litter and will leave it with me at a designated point. It’s a big thing in Scandinavia now apparently so join us!!https://www.facebook.com/IAMSAVINGTHEPLANET/
